The Town Council Personnel and Appointments Committee on June 16 recommended that the Town Council reappoint Richard Dixon and Alelia Staton as full members of the Jabez Smith House committee, with terms expiring Sept. 7, 2030. The recommendation was approved unanimously by voice vote.
Adam Piccinno moved the resolution and another member seconded. Committee members said Dixon’s submitted materials show long-term contributions and expertise on the building’s historic nature and that Staton demonstrated relevant coursework and enthusiasm during her prior interview.
Chair Dave Good called the vote; members said "aye" with no opposed or abstentions and the recommendation passed. The committee did not attach conditions or amendments to the recommendation.
