Village Administrator Tyler Rench briefed the council on Sept. 3 that contractors are working on mechanical systems at the wastewater treatment plant and that a dry run of those systems is planned within the next couple of months. He said a number of interior windows have been installed at the Government Center, floor-laying work continues, and the main air handler was shipped; once the air handler is installed the village will schedule an inspection to complete the mechanical phase and then move to subsequent project stages.
Rench said he had shared photos of the completed interior work with council members. The update did not include project cost figures, project completion dates beyond the pending inspection, or operational implications for residents while the systems are tested.
