Councilman Joseph Garvin moved and Councilman Kenneth McCaster seconded the third‑reading approval to rezone TMS #0044-00-04-004.000 (Comos Rd., Neeses) from FA to RC (Rural Community). Councilwoman Janie Cooper‑Smith moved, and Councilwoman Deloris Frazier seconded, acceptance of a planning commission resolution and first reading of an ordinance to rezone TMS #0362-07-01-006.000 (267 Grader Fire Rd., Eutawville) from RG (Residential General) to FA (Forest Agricultural).
On the funding request, Council opened a public hearing on a resolution to apply for assistance from the South Carolina Office of Public Transit; no members of the public asked questions during the hearing. Councilwoman Janie Cooper‑Smith moved to pass the resolution to apply for the transit funds; Councilwoman Deloris Frazier seconded and the motion carried 7-0.
