Shore Collaborative report: adult and student services enrollment at record levels, Everett has 15 students enrolled

Chairperson Hurley presented the Shore Educational Collaborative quarterly report required by DESE and requested the Committee accept and place the report on file.
Hurley said adult services are running steady with 365 participants enrolled and 313 attending in person, and that student services systemwide reached a record 220 participants; Everett currently has 15 students enrolled in Shore programs. She noted expanded interpreter certification with 22 trained interpreters in languages that include Spanish, Haitian Creole, Nepali, Arabic, Portuguese, French and Yoruba, and described recent student showcases such as a science fair and art show.
Hurley also said Shore board members met with a consultant from Blueprint Strategies and unanimously adopted a first‑of‑its‑kind compensation philosophy for non‑covered roles, and that the Shore executive director received a proficient overall evaluation with exemplary ratings in HR management, laws and ethics, fiscal systems and cultural proficiency.
A motion to accept and place the report on file passed by roll call, 8–0.
