The board also accepted a Midwest Floor Covering proposal for weight-room flooring and turf for $31,738. HVAC maintenance tabled: The board reviewed a Langmire HVAC maintenance quote (roughly $10,000 plus $5,000 for extra filters) and raised questions about billing timing and whether scheduled maintenance had actually been completed. Policy package: Administration presented several recommended policy changes from the district’s consultant (KSB), including moving transportation policy language and updating procurement and gift/grant thresholds. Board members debated 'option' student transportation (whether to provide pickup if option students meet the district’s existing bus route) and ultimately approved transportation Option One and the broader package of policy changes.
