Tecumseh Local board approves classified resignations and reassignments

Both resignations were recorded “to accept another position within the district.”
The board approved reassigning Kimmey to Head Custodian at Tecumseh High School, effective July 1, 2024, at Step 25, $23.90 per hour, and approved Smith as Groundskeeper at Tecumseh Local Schools, effective July 1, 2024, at Step 4, $23.24 per hour. The motion to adopt the consent calendar on these personnel items was made by Mr. Diller and seconded by Mr. Mills. Roll call recorded ayes from Members Diller, Stafford, Clark and Martin; Member Mills abstained. The minutes record the motion as carried 4–0.
The minutes do not record debate or statements explaining the personnel moves beyond the line noting each resignation’s stated reason. The board adjourned at 7:12 a.m. The closing signature block in the minutes lists “President Denise Y Robinson” and a Treasurer line with no name, which conflicts with the earlier reference to Sue Anne Martin as presiding president and is noted in the minutes as provided.
