Waterloo trustees approve hiring of Cori Hall as full-time maintenance employee

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Waterloo approved Resolution 02-19-26-01 on Feb. 19, 2026, to employ Cori Hall as a full-time maintenance employee.
Vice-Chairperson Bill Rotert called the special meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Office, 509 S. Front Street, and read the resolution into the record. Trustee Nikki Ewing moved to approve the resolution; Trustee David Rochford seconded the motion. A roll-call vote recorded yes votes from Ewing, Rotert, Corie Sass and Rochford; there were no votes against and Chairperson Travis Harlow was noted as absent. The motion carried, formally approving the hire.
Melissa Smith, the Village Clerk, noted that a true, correct and complete copy of the resolution and minutes is on file in the clerk’s office. The special meeting was adjourned at 5:01 p.m. The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for March 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
The action was a formal personnel approval by resolution; no additional debate, public comment or amendments were recorded in the meeting minutes.
