At its Dec. 10 meeting the Tecumseh Local Board approved (5‑0) a resolution to administer the 2025–26 third‑grade reading and math state assessments using paper rather than electronic testing.
The motion, made by Mr. Mills and seconded by Mr. Diller, was approved by roll call. Board and administrative discussion confirmed the district’s plan to use paper tests for the 2025–26 assessment cycle. No additional policy changes or budget allocations were recorded in the motion.
The board noted that district and building test schedules will be coordinated with district staff; administrators will communicate specific dates and student‑level logistics to families as assessments approach.
