The Board of Trustees of the Village of Waterloo unanimously adopted Ordinance 858 on Jan. 12 to amend mobile food vendor permit requirements. Chairperson Travis Harlow introduced the ordinance and, on his motion seconded by Trustee David Rochford, the board voted to waive the three-reading requirement. Trustee Nikki Ewing moved to approve Ordinance 858 and Trustee David Rochford seconded; the ordinance passed by unanimous roll call.
Ordinance 858 expands the county health department permits accepted for mobile food-vendor permitting to include Lancaster County and the Central District alongside Douglas County permits. The minutes record no amendments or conditions attached to the ordinance at the time of adoption.
