Wallace adopts One‑ & Six‑Year Road Plan and approves church replat

The Village of Wallace Board of Trustees voted Dec. 10 to adopt the One‑ & Six‑Year Road Plan and approved a land replat for Wallace Community Church.
A motion by Trustee Brian Banks, seconded by Trustee Christina Daniels, to approve Resolution 25‑05 (One‑ & Six‑Year Road Plan) carried by a recorded vote of 5‑0. The board formally adopted the plan as presented.
Separately, Trustees approved a replat for Wallace Community Church on a motion by Brian Banks, seconded by John May; that motion also passed 5‑0.
The board received an operational update that the South Well is back up and running. Trustees also noted that Topkote, the village’s previous asphalt contractor, has retired and directed staff to seek a new asphalt company for upcoming work.
The law enforcement report recorded 27 hours of patrol for November; no further public safety actions were recorded.
Actions taken on the road plan and the replat were unanimous votes recorded in the minutes. The board adjourned at 8:56 p.m.
