The Park County Planning & Zoning Commission on Aug. 12 set a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Paradise Valley zoning district for Sept. 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
Mike Inman presented a memo outlining the commission's authority and the statutory process for amendments and said the memo was for information only; the commission was not to discuss or decide the substance of the proposed amendments at this meeting. Staff advised that legal notice requires newspaper publication and physical sign postings and recommended allowing roughly 25 days to complete those steps.
Commission members checked calendars and, after excluding dates that would conflict with holidays and member availability, voted to reschedule the public hearing to Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. The chair and staff emphasized that the upcoming hearing would be the venue for public comment and any detailed discussion of proposed changes to Paradise Valley regulations.
The commission adjourned after taking that scheduling action.
