At its Sept. 25, 2025 meeting, the Warren Local Board of Education approved administrative recommendations that set the district’s 2026 graduation details and advanced a professional-development partnership.
The board approved the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) handbook as presented and set Warren High School’s graduation for May 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the football stadium, with the Warrior Coliseum gymnasium designated as the rain location. The administration recommended the date; the board approved the motion under RES. NO. 73-25.
Separately, the board approved an agreement between the district and Building Bridges to Careers (BB2C) for district integration of community and career-connected learning. The agreement, described in the motion, takes effect Aug. 15, 2025, and runs through June 30, 2026; the board approved the contract as presented.
The motion carried on recorded roll call with no recorded dissent. Jesse Roush, serving in his capacity as legislative liaison, later commented on legislative matters in communications but no changes to the approved items were recorded during the meeting.
