At the Feb. 25 meeting Trustee Wilken reported a Sargent Drilling estimate of $24,941 to drill a water well; he said he will share the estimate with Miller and Associates for further review.
Trustees discussed sidewalks and new culverts for the daycare and school near the top of the hill; Trustee Stava recommended 18-inch steel culverts to ensure pass-through for rainwater. Both the culvert and sidewalk items were added to the March agenda for more detailed discussion.
The maintenance report noted a water leak reported at 155 N 6th; JR's Water, Sewer & Septic was identified to fix the curb stop. Maintenance also flagged that lead service-line replacement is needed at 805 A Street; staff will obtain legal details and then coordinate contact with the property owner.
The board recorded a planned shutoff at 300 N 5th to enable a water-line work/disablement as part of the delinquent-account and repair work discussed in the clerk report.
