Malcolm trustees approve Windstream permit and authorize ballfield sprinkler and maintenance bids

Trustee Jason Lemkau moved to approve Windstream's building permit to install 690 feet of 12CT fiber optic cable within the Education Drive right-of-way, contingent on receipt of the required permit fee; Trustee Mike Faubion seconded and the motion carried (Benes absent). For the village ballfields, Trustee Jerad Little moved to approve RDM Landscapes' estimate of $7,037.33 for additional sprinkler heads, replacements and repairs; Jack Tarr seconded and the motion carried. Little also moved to approve a $15,109.00 bid from RDM Landscapes for baseball and softball field maintenance; Jason Lemkau seconded. That maintenance award is contingent upon an agreement with Malcolm Public Schools and MYSA to share the cost equally among the three parties, a condition recorded in the minutes.
