Manley adopts 1- and 6-year road plan and reviews $21,670 bid for Main & Locust patch

The Village of Manley Board of Trustees reopened its regular meeting after the budget hearing and held a public hearing on the one- and six-year road plan beginning at 7:25 p.m. Staff and trustees noted the 1 & 6 Year Road Plan largely mirrors last year’s plan and concentrates most proposed work within the six-year horizon rather than the next 12 months. Vice Chairman Tim Glas moved to adopt the plan and Marcie LaFleur seconded; trustees present voted in favor and adopted Resolution 24-03.
During unfinished business the board reviewed a repair bid from Midwest DCM for a road patch at the intersection of Main and Locust with an estimated cost of $21,670. Board members said they will solicit additional bids before moving forward with procurement. The road plan adoption and the receipt of the road-patch estimate were recorded in the minutes; no public objections to the plan were reported in the record.
The board’s approval of the 1 & 6 Year Plan establishes the municipal schedule and priorities for street work through 2030 and allows staff to pursue contracting and bids consistent with that schedule.
