Jericho trustees approve May minutes, accept treasurer’s report; discuss mailbox, grounds and Library of Things addition

York reviewed account balances and reported he had moved some funds into certificates of deposit to earn higher interest; the board accepted his report, as recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not list a motion or vote tally for these approvals.
On facilities, Director Catherine Bass reported that the new mailbox installed by Trustee Tom Dowd is working well. Trustees agreed the front-yard grounds and outdoor furniture need attention and asked Bass to approach the Friends group to see whether the group would consider taking on the project.
Under other business, Trustee Barb Adams suggested adding a Corn Hole set to the Library of Things; trustees agreed the item would likely be popular. The minutes show the board entered an executive session from 5:55 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
