The Jericho Town Library will launch its Summer Reading Program on June 20 with a kickoff at the Community Center hosted with DRML, Library Director Catherine Bass told the Board of Trustees on June 9.
Bass outlined a slate of programs for all ages, including Spanish storytimes, a yoga series for tweens and teens, an Insect Camp for children ages 5 to 8, a Puppet Kabob workshop, a Perler Beads workshop, drop-in makerspace activities, a Read with a Dog session, pen pal and craft events in collaboration with Riot Craft Studio, and movie nights scheduled for July and August. The board also noted that the annual Pet Parade has been rescheduled for August. A workshop is planned with the Vermont Historical Society.
