At its April meeting the Livermore Falls select board approved payroll warrants and several property-tax abatements.
The board voted to approve payroll warrant number 14 for $30,828.82 and payroll warrant number 15 for $28,952 after a motion and second. Later the board considered abatements and related payments: an abatement for parcel map 11, lot 1 in the amount of $8,101; a payment for parcel map 9 W321 for $127; and an abatement for parcel map 9 32 in the amount of $45,021. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
No roll-call tallies or named yes/no votes were recorded in the transcript; members indicated approval through repeated voice confirmations of ‘‘all in favor.’’ The transcript does not list movers or seconders by name for each motion.
These routine financial actions were taken as part of the board’s consent and warrants section and were not accompanied by substantive debate in the public record.
The board then proceeded to other items on its agenda.
