On the confidential legal matter, the board reported it met under Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) concerning mediation in special-education case number 25-26-03 and moved to approve staff’s recommendation. No members of the public spoke during the general public-comment period. The meeting closed after roughly 12 minutes; the board president offered best wishes to Dr. Beatson and Dr. Jennings and announced the next regular meeting for Thursday, August 13, 2026.
