Gunnison Planning Commission approves minutes, hears staff updates and adjourns

The commission approved the minutes from its February 25, 2026 meeting. Commissioner Jill White moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner Ardella Peterson seconded; the vote was unanimous.
During staff reports commissioners discussed attending the American Planning Association conference and a future land-use conference in Richfield. City Administrator Dennis Marker provided an update that a conditional-use permit application for a motel is currently in the drawing and review stage.
Chair Debra Greener moved to adjourn the meeting; Commissioner Thomas Bore seconded the motion and the commission voted unanimously to adjourn at 7:49 p.m. The commission announced its next meeting for April 29. Minutes were prepared by and signed/approved by Debra Greener for Mandi Buege.
