Committee members encouraged staff to explore donation or resale options where legally permissible; staff said they have contacted organizations that resell surplus materials and will pursue community donation possibilities after formal disposal approval.
The attendance, enrollment and registration report showed current enrollment at 11,692 students and an attendance figure in the report of 8,875 (as stated). Districtwide registration stands at about 91% with preschool/elementary at 96.5%, secondary at 85.8% and high school at 79.5%; staff said secondary registration has increased by more than 5% since last month.
All procurement and disposal items were informational at the committee level and are scheduled for action at the July full board meeting.
