Mayor David read a proclamation that thanked Bernice and Mark for ‘‘dedicated their time and resources to the betterment [of] the citizens of Prairie Grove’’ and cited thousands of service interactions and regular deliveries of pies that ‘‘deliver joy, smiles and happiness’’ to neighbors. The council invited family forward for photographs following the presentation.
The recognition preceded the council’s regular agenda, which included approval of minutes, the treasurer’s report and multiple departmental updates.
