On a motion by Chris Cover, board secretary, seconded by Vice President Clint Taylor, trustees voted to approve the consent items. The minutes record that trustees Mark Vinton, Clint Taylor, Chris Cover and President Justin Vinton voted Aye; Kevin Anderson and Bob Meester were absent.
The approved bills and claims list a total disbursement of $274,567.38 and show fund-level items including a $10,000 transfer from the general fund to the lunch fund, lunch fund obligations of $24,304.97, activity fund payments of $14,374.78 and a special building fund disbursement of $11,104.09. Payroll and benefit items recorded in the minutes include classified and non-classified wages of $116,825.07 and employer Social Security and federal tax payments of $30,024.64.
The board received an administrative report that noted a district financial review is complete and the 2026–27 calendar process is underway; district staff also mentioned a Nebraska Department of Education external team visit planned for fall 2026. The meeting adjourned at 5:23 PM.
