Tremont authorizes application for Maine DOT grant for Lopaus Point Road; solicits bids for cleaning contract

The board also discussed Ferry Terminal Floats and the possibility of soliciting bids but made no motion on that item.
On procurement, the board reviewed FY27 Town Office cleaning contract bid specifications and authorized the Town Manager to solicit bids. McKenzie Jewett moved and Kevin Buck seconded the motion to solicit bids as specified; the motion passed unanimously.
For scheduling, the board confirmed its next regular meeting for Monday, May 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Office; the motion to confirm passed 4–1, with Select Board member Howdy Goodwin opposed. Chair Jamie Thurlow moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:46 p.m.; the motion, seconded by Howdy Goodwin, passed unanimously.
