The Prairie Grove Planning Commission approved preliminary plan approval for phases three and four of the Copper Hill subdivision at its Oct. 9 meeting, enabling coordinated road and utility construction for the next build phases.
A developer representative said phases one and two are under construction and that the storm sewer for the later lots drains to a pond at the site's southeast corner. The representative told the commission phasing helps coordinate utilities and keep homes on schedule; projected timing for phase three was 2027 and phase four 2028.
Staff reminded the commission that final plats or house plans must return for final approval before each home is built. The commission approved the preliminary plan by motion and voice vote with no public opposition recorded.
Next steps: the developer will coordinate required stormwater analyses and return final plats or building permits for each lot as construction progresses.
