Prairie Grove — Commissioners approved a long-term mobile food vendor permit Nov. 6 for Red Dirt Barbecue to operate at 405 Westview Buchanan (in front of Flash Market).
The applicant, Tam, told the commission she has operated at the location about a month and prefers two days per week but intends to remain longer term. Staff said the site meets applicable requirements — paid parking, restroom access and a written property-owner agreement — and recommended long-term authorization. Commissioners asked about generator noise and encouraged the vendor to pursue wired power rather than running a generator full-time.
Motion and vote: A commissioner moved to approve the long-term mobile food permit for Red Dirt Barbecue; the motion passed on a voice vote.
