Board adopts omnibus resolutions, tables Clifton Park parcel tax-cancellation
Summary
Supervisors adopted a large package of routine resolutions (155–180) on June 16, while tabling Resolution 160 — cancelling interest and fees on certain Clifton Park tax parcels — pending further review because county sewer infrastructure may affect ownership interest.

The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors on June 16 adopted an omnibus package of resolutions covering public-safety agreements, grants, infrastructure contracts, road and bridge projects and sewer-district matters, but tabled a separate resolution concerning a few tax parcels in the town of Clifton Park.
Clerk read Resolutions 155 through 180, including: authorization for use of a regional juvenile secure detention facility; acceptance of state grants and related budget amendments; agreements for substance-abuse prevention programming; several real-property tax cancellations; lease and courthouse upgrade agreements; multiple public-works federal-aid bridge and road projects; and a proposed local law updating sewer-use rules for Saratoga County Sewer District No. 1. Budget impact statements were read for each item.
Chair Barrett asked for a separate vote on Resolution 160 because at least one of the parcels contains county sewer equipment and there was interest from the town of Clifton Park. After discussion, a motion to table Resolution 160 — to allow further investigation of town interest and the county sewer district’s use — was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
The board then approved the remainder of the resolutions in a single omnibus roll-call vote. The clerk recorded the votes and the motion passed.
The board chair said staff will keep supervisors updated and that there will likely be a future resolution once the county completes its review of the parcels involved.
Votes at a glance: omnibus adoption (resolutions 155–159, 161–180) — approved; Resolution 160 (Clifton Park tax parcels) — tabled for further review.
