The Town of Beekmantown board approved two routine resolutions at its March 2 work session.
The board voted unanimously, 5–0, to adopt Resolution No. 60-26 to move forward with amendment 8 of the AES Owner‑Engineer Agreement. Mr. Sand moved the action and Mrs. Turner seconded; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with all five members recorded as present and voting yes (Mr. Deyo; Mrs. Turner; Mr. Menard; Mr. Sand; Mr. Dyer).
In a separate vote, the board adopted Resolution No. 61-26 to correct an overpayment by transferring $942.41 from the Building contractual account to the Election contractual account. Mrs. Turner moved the budget transfer; Mr. Deyo seconded. The measure passed on a 5–0 roll-call vote with the same voting members recorded yes.
Both resolutions were presented as standard, procedural items on the work-session agenda. Board members did not expand the public record with additional debate before the votes; meeting minutes show the motions, seconds and roll-call tallies recorded in the official action lines.
The meeting also included non-action items on the agenda, including a discussion of a Shared Services Agreement packet scheduled for a vote at the board’s March 16 meeting and an update on a Lake Champlain Basin grant related to the town well project. Town Clerk Tammy Menard submitted the meeting minutes; the session adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
Formal actions recorded: Resolution No. 60-26 (approval to proceed with AES Owner‑Engineer Agreement amendment 8) and Resolution No. 61-26 (budget transfer of $942.41).
