Commissioners heard a string of routine department updates after the action items on Dec. 16.
Courts staff reported a scheduled jury trial was canceled this morning and outlined two three‑day jury trials set for January. Museum staff said HVAC work in crawlspaces is underway and that new exhibits and foundation speaker events continue to draw visitors. Finance reported a staff departure and plans to adjust full-time equivalent (FTE) levels for year-end workload; HR described recent mediation with the sheriff’s union and continuing recruitment for civil court and sanitarian positions.
Grants staff said project paperwork for Horse Creek is finalized and that applications are being prepared for resiliency funding for main Boulder bridges; planning staff noted a planning-board review of a minor subdivision and ongoing work on updated subdivision regulations. DES reported work merging two TV translator boards and intent to advertise volunteer board openings; fair and parks staff discussed 2026 grant season preparations.
The commission approved meeting minutes from Dec. 9, 2025, handled consent items and then adjourned by voice vote.
