Several members expressed concern about future fiscal pressures if revenue assumptions change. After discussion, a motion to approve the budget ordinance carried.
The board also approved related housekeeping items in the ordinance and confirmed the budget dates were updated to reflect June 15. Commissioners said they expect additional budget amendments during the year and described the approved ordinance as the initial working document for the next fiscal period.
