Brimfield trustees approve routine motions, hear an insurance renewal comment and reassign an IT vehicle

At its May 28, 2025 regular meeting the Brimfield Township Board of Trustees handled routine business including several motions to rescind, approve minutes and authorize payments.
Trustee Sue Fields moved to rescind Motion #2025‑150; Trustee Mike Kostensky seconded and the motion passed. The board approved minutes from a April 16, 2025 bid opening (with Trustee Nicholas Coia recorded as abstaining) and approved minutes from the May 14, 2025 regular meeting. Trustees also approved purchase orders and warrants by unanimous votes recorded in the minutes.

After returning from two executive sessions held under Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(G) to discuss personnel matters, the trustees approved Motion #2025‑179 to reassign an IT‑issued vehicle to pooled administrative use effective October 1, 2025. The meeting adjourned at 10:29 AM.
