Board unanimously approves personnel items, accepts girls soccer coach resignation

Mr. Jerry Olveda moved, and Mr. Jordan Davis seconded, approval of additional spring volunteer coaches for FY 24/25; the motion carried unanimously. The board accepted a letter of resignation from Carlo Hernandez as girls head soccer coach for FY 24/25 (motion by Mr. Ralph Moran; second by Mr. Billy Brown), which the board also approved unanimously.
The board approved Jonah Villescaz-Morrison as a substitute teacher (motion by Mr. Moran; second by Mr. Brown) and approved Frank Montijo as assistant baseball coach for FY 24/25 (motion by Mr. Olveda; second by Mr. Davis); both motions carried unanimously. Mr. Brown moved and Mr. Moran seconded approval of certified teacher recommendations for FY 25/26; that motion passed unanimously.
Finally, the board approved the proposed classified salary schedule for FY 24/25 (motion by Mr. Brown; second by Mr. Moran), also by unanimous vote. The personnel approvals were routine and no dissenting votes were recorded in the minutes.
