Santa Cruz Elementary School Board approves vendor contract, stipend, calendar and budget items

At its Feb. 10, 2026 meeting the Santa Cruz Elementary School District board unanimously approved designating Arizona Propane as sole vendor for SY 2025–26, a $500 health/wellness stipend for Denisse Melendez for SY 2026–27, the proposed 2026–27 school calendar, and ratified/approved payroll and expense batches.
The Santa Cruz Elementary School District Governing Board on Feb. 10, 2026 approved multiple consent and action items, recording unanimous votes on motions brought during the meeting.
The board approved a motion to designate Arizona Propane as the sole propane vendor for school year 2025–26. Dr. Dean Fish moved the motion and Mrs. Debbie Gonzales seconded; roll call on the motion shows all five members voting in the affirmative.
The board also approved a $500 health/wellness stipend for Denisse Melendez for school year 2026–27; Mr. Ron Fish moved the motion and Mrs. Debbie Gonzales seconded, and the motion passed with all members voting yes.
Board members approved the proposed 2026–2027 school calendar after a motion from Dr. Carrie Pottinger and a second from Dr. Dean Fish; the vote was recorded as unanimous.
