Alma council approves 21 kW solar conditional-use permit for Schofield property

After closing the hearing the council voted to approve the conditional-use permit (motion to open by Casper, motion to close by Moulton, final approval motion by Moulton, second by Wheeler; Moulton, Wheeler, Casper and Mahalek voted yes).
The permit had previously been approved by the Planning Commission on July 23, 2025, according to the minutes. The action authorizes the described solar installation under the city's conditional-use rules; the record contains no conditions or mitigation measures beyond standard zoning compliance requirements.
