Airport commission reports hangar work, training classes and donor-funded scholarship

Dawson asked the council to be prepared for a mayoral resolution to accept a grant the commission has applied for; he cautioned that the grant acceptance window can be narrow and sometimes requires a special council meeting to meet deadlines.
Next steps: staff said they will prepare a resolution for the mayor to accept the grant if the award is offered and continue coordination with Palaski Tech and the college partners on curriculum and capacity planning.
