Broadview Heights council adopts a slate of routine resolutions on contracts and public works

City Council unanimously approved a series of emergency resolutions and contracts during its Jan. 26 meeting, covering agreements and procurement actions across recreation, engineering and service departments.
Among the measures adopted were Resolution 2026-12 (authorizing an agreement with Aris Company for portable restrooms for Home Days), 2026-13 (accepting a 2026 Cuyahoga County preventative maintenance award), 2026-14 (amending a Digioia Suburban Excavating agreement for a road-extension project), 2026-15 (authorizing bid advertising for the 2026 road paving program), and 2026-16 (an agreement with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District for MS4 erosion control inspections). The council also adopted resolutions for TruGreen services at city fields and Broadview Center (2026-17), portable restrooms citywide (2026-18), exercise room floor resurfacing (2026-19), Bramblewood generator repairs (2026-20), vac-con truck maintenance (2026-21), and advertising bids for 2026 street striping (2026-22).
All listed resolutions were moved, seconded and adopted by recorded roll-call votes with each councilor voting "yes." Resolution 2026-23, an agreement with Stefanik Iosue & Associates, LLC for labor relations and HR counseling services, was presented for first reading only and council asked that questions be submitted by email ahead of the next meeting.
The actions were routine authorizations and procurements; no contested votes or amendments were recorded on the council floor at the meeting.
