Alvo board approves small reimbursements, waives customer charges tied to clerk invoice error

Trustees also approved reimbursing Devon Sullivan $161.36 for food expenses related to Alvo Days 2025 (motion by Larry Langer, second by Gary Estes; vote Yes-4, No-0).
On a remedy proposed to address prior clerk/treasurer Kristina Stoki's invoice-generation error, the board accepted a QuickBooks-recommended approach to issue a 'holder invoice' so that customers would not be charged for the missing month. The motion to waive all customer fees associated with the error passed unanimously (Yes-4, No-0). Interim Clerk/Treasurer Cathina Schueth recorded that the village would implement the holder-invoice approach as advised by QuickBooks support.
