The board then approved renewal of OBI Labs' Medical Cannabis Manufacturing License (MHX 112). The Town Manager noted that the State now requires the MHX number to be recorded when the Select Board takes its vote. The motion passed unanimously.
The Select Board also renewed an Adult Use Cannabis Retail License for Arcana LLC (AMS 276, 291 Harold L. Dow Highway). The Town Manager complimented the business for running a strong operation and thanked manager James Folan for attending; the motion to approve the renewal passed on a unanimous vote.
Finally, the board approved two local licensing conversion applications related to Highly CannaCo operations at 495 Harold L. Dow Highway. The Town Manager described these as the town's first conversion applications: ownership shares were being converted to Highly CannaCo LLC while Jan Martin remains the listed manager. The board approved the conversion for the retail license (AMS 1755) and for the manufacturing license (AMS 1753), each by unanimous vote.
All license votes were recorded as unanimous in favor (Select Board members Alex Orestis, Cabot Trott and Bill Widi voting yes). No members of the public spoke in opposition at the hearings; the Town Manager characterized the renewals and conversion filings as routine and in order.
