Local disc-golf player asks council to fund $3,500 course upgrades at city park

Parks & Rec Chief Charles Wilson said he would work with Dufran on locations and materials and council members suggested existing park repair or grounds line items could cover the expense so the work could proceed without waiting for the next meeting. No formal appropriation or vote was taken; councilors encouraged staff to price the baskets and report back.
The item was raised during the Parks & Rec department report as a citizen presentation; councilors also discussed maintenance concerns and vandalism risks that have affected prior equipment.
