On March 16 the Bradford Selectboard voted to rescind an earlier June 16, 2025 board action that had authorized using Recreation savings and reserve funds for playground equipment. Boardmember Edward Nevells moved to rescind and Boardmember Terrie Allen seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also voted to combine Recreation savings and Recreation reserve into a single account to be used by the current and future Recreation Committees subject to Board approval. The Manager noted that use of savings funds requires a Town Meeting vote; the rescission aligns the board's records with that requirement.
The action returns decisions on expenditure of savings funds to Town Meeting and places management of the consolidated account under Selectboard oversight for future approvals.
