Camp Verde council holds executive session on town manager evaluation; reconvenes with no action

The Camp Verde Mayor and Council met in a special work session on May 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. and voted 5-0 to enter an executive session under Arizona law to discuss the employment and annual performance evaluation of Town Manager Miranda Fisher. Vice Mayor Wendy Escoffier moved to enter executive session and Councilor Robert Foreman seconded the motion.

The agenda item was read by Mayor Marie Moore and identified A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(1) as the statutory authority for the closed-session discussion of personnel matters.
