River Ridge CDD approves goals and performance measures required by HB7013; initial report due Dec. 1, 2025

The River Ridge Community Development District on Aug. 27 approved a set of goals and performance measures intended to comply with new state requirements under HB7013 for special districts.
Mrs. Adams, District Counsel Tony Pires and District Manager Chuck Adams presented the new statutory obligation and described three broad performance categories the district will use for FY2025 reporting: Community Communication and Engagement; Infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance; and Financial Transparency and Accountability. The board approved the Goals and Objectives and the Performance Measures/Standards & Annual Reporting Form.
District staff added the initial report due date (Dec. 1, 2025) to the district’s key activity dates and instructed staff to post the report on the CDD website in compliance with the statute. The measure passed on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Twombly "with all in favor."
