Officials promoted a community blood drive sponsored by the Quartzsite Woman's Club: "The next blood drive is February 16 from 9 to 2 at the senior center," the council member said, asking for public participation. The council member also requested another presentation from CareFlight, saying the air‑medical service's prior visit helped explain the local need for blood and emergency transport options.

Council members and staff indicated these issues will be part of further discussion and coordination with regional partners and service providers.
