Staff noted that some contingency exists within the county's professional services/outsourced legal budget lines and that, in practice, the clerk's office may have the ability to encumber the full amount and then seek adjustments via July 1 budget processes or the September supplement. The committee did not take funding action at the meeting and advised staff to return with a precise transfer request or to place an agenda item on the July 1 budget board meeting if necessary.
