Meeting organizers announced that culverts in Roosevelt Estates believed to contain asbestos pipe will be tested and removed and that drainage problems identified during a recent review will be addressed.
The facilitator said the asbestos-pipe testing scope of work is complete and was sent to asbestos-testing companies last week; the team is awaiting qualified firms to complete the contract. The announcement also said areas with drainage issues will be fixed and that some locations will need additional surveys to ensure proper drainage.
Residents were not given specific contractor names, schedules for testing or removal, or exact timelines for repairs during the meeting. The facilitator said more comprehensive notes will be available at the January 2025 meeting.
