During the June 17 meeting the Transportation Commission held nominations for chair and vice chair. Alder Okovich was nominated and, with a second, selected as chair by unanimous consent after the floor was closed. Harold nominated Chris for vice chair; that nomination was seconded and approved by unanimous consent as well. The commission followed the city attorney’s guidance that alternates cannot be selected as chair or vice chair.
No roll-call votes were requested; the chair thanked members for their confidence and said she would continue in the role.
