Cusseta–Chattahoochee commissioners approve zoning contract renewal, select CDBG engineer and OK building HVAC purchase

Rick Morris, who attended to explain the scoring process, told the board five firms applied; Ingram earned the top score (67) and the county will pay $500 for a rewrite or $750 for a new application fee depending on the situation. The board also approved a Letter of Agreement with RVRC to move forward with application preparation and related tasks.
County legal services: The meeting packet included an engagement letter and Standard Terms of Engagement for Clark Hill (A. Binford Minter identified in the record as county attorney). The board approved an attorney rate increase and moved forward with the firm’s representation terms as presented in the meeting materials.
HVAC replacement: The board approved purchasing two 15-ton rooftop HVAC units for the McNaughton Street building from Archie's at $26,670 each, rather than the competing quote from Fire & Ice of $27,500. The board said funding will come from SPLOST.
