The board also directed staff to publish required notices and set a public hearing for May 6 at 3:00 p.m.; property owners and affected parties within the statutory notice radius will be notified per the county—process. Commissioners and staff discussed utility availability (city water reaches the fairgrounds but sewer does not), and county staff noted that ownership and gas-tax implications will be tracked during the legal process.
