After convening in executive session to discuss employee certifications, the Beaver Crossing Village Board of Trustees on March 12 approved hiring Wayne Regnier to provide hands-on training to Maintenance employee S. Brackhan.
Chairman Jerry Zieg moved to hire Regnier to meet twice weekly with Brackhan and to pay him up to $1,000 per month until Brackhan completes the water certification course in May; Trustee Kaely Eberspacher seconded. The motion passed on a 5-0 roll call following executive session.
The board’s action was framed as a temporary training arrangement to ensure the village’s maintenance staff achieves required certification. The minutes state the arrangement’s monthly cap and an expected completion date (May) but do not provide a contract term beyond the completion condition.
