Wanda Reed moved and Richard Eaton seconded the motion to adopt BDG as written; the board voted 4–0 to adopt the policy. Chair Trisha McCurdy moved and Jane Lanctot seconded approval of the first reading of EBBD, Temperature Standards for Schools; the board approved that first reading "with changes" by a 4–0 vote. The committee also approved first readings of JKAA and JKAA‑R, the district’s Use of Physical Restraint and Seclusion policy and its procedures, each by 4–0 votes (motions moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes).
BDG was adopted during the meeting and entered into the district policy record.
